KCEA gave an update on the DPW regulations. As of Friday, August 13, the Department of Public Welfare has withdrawn their proposed regulations. Reasons cited by the DPW were economics, costs, and quality. The DPW does not have a timetable to re-draft the rule-making. Wireless Microphones and FCC Regulations

The Federal Communications Commission recently changed its policies concerning the use of wireless microphones. Use of devices which use the 700 MHz band will be prohibited as of June 12, 2010. You may read more about this regulation on the FCC website if you click HERE.
