Varina Baptist Church in Varina, VA is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational pastor who meets the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. VBC is a small, rural, financially independent church fifteen minutes from downtown Richmond.

Preferred is a seminary graduate with proven experience in pastoral ministry (such as associate pastor or pastor), able to communicate effectively through expository preaching. The pastor will lead in both example and action discipleship, personal and congregational ministry, worship, and outreach. The church desires revitalization to grow the church’s spiritual health and membership.

If you would be willing to host a fellowship meeting in conjunction with a special meeting, please let us know. Meetings are generally held in the morning although other options may considered. Fellowships may include one or two preaching times and it is not necessary to provide a meal. We will work with the host pastor accordingly. Currently we have nothing scheduled from November through April, although we are working to confirm a number of dates and times.
