New Email Updating

Over the past several months, we have had issues with the email updates.  The most significant issue has been a significant delay between the time a post is made to the website and the time it is actually sent to your email inbox.  The problem has been identified and a solution reached.

For those who have already been subscribed or have expressed interest in the fellowship, the only thing you need to do is to click on a confirmation link which will appear in your inbox.

For those who have not yet subscribed, simply submit your email address to the form on the right of this page.  An email will be sent immediately to your inbox.  Simply follow the instructions in the email that you will receive from the website.

In the future, you will be able to unsubscribe should you desire to stop receiving updates from the website.  This feature was not available with our previous email system.

Next Fellowship — October 18 @ Bible Baptist of New Bloomfield

The next fellowship will be held on October 18, the third Monday of the month (because of Columbus Day on the 11th).  The fellowship will be held at Bible Baptist Church of New Bloomfield.  Breakfast pastries will be served starting at 9:30 am.  The speakers will be Jon God, pastor of Strodes Mills Baptist Church in Lewistown and Bill Bowen, vice president of church mobilization with International Partnership Ministries.

Leadership Change

Pastor God announced at the September fellowship that he will step aside as the moderator of the fellowship.  Pastor God has been the moderator since 2004 when the fellowship unanimously asked him to lead the meetings.  At Pastor God’s request, the role of moderator has been assumed by Wes Gunther, pastor of Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Dillsburg.

Feel free to direct any questions regarding the leadership change to Pastor God or to Pastor Gunther.  Both would be more than willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have on this matter.
