Free Stuff Friday

I recently acquired a library, including three sets of commentaries which I would like to give away to any pastor in the HAPF. Please feel free to take one or all for yourself or for someone you know.

The first set is a complete Adam Clarke’s Commentary.

The second set is the four volume The Interlinear Hebrew Greek English Bible. The cover of volume 1 is separating from the book but still in usable condition.

UPDATE ON 2/7: Only the Alford’s Greek Testatment set is available. It’s a paperback set, missing volume 2.

If you are interested, please send me an email to booksATlausdeobooksDOTcom (click on the email address to send an email — replace AT with @ and DOT with . ) or call me at 717 THREE FIVE SEVEN 9226 (please leave a message if I am unable to answer).

February 8 Fellowship at MVBC

On February 8th, Mountain View Bible Church is hosting a Pastors Fellowship. However, unlike most of our fellowships, this one is highly specialized and unique.
On this date, the Derry Township Police Department will join us and provide training on how to keep you, your churches, and your staff safe in the event of
– active shooter
– aggressive guests
– protestors
– and a host of other security threats
I recommend you attend this if possible or send someone from your church to attend this as well. Some of you may also be able to receive an insurance break from your church insurance company for undergoing this process.
You many invite men from your church, but please use discretion in announcing this from your pulpits. Perhaps, a more one on one invite would be best.
We are adjusting the normal schedule a bit. We begin at 9:00 with pastries and coffee, the session begins at 9:30 and will run to 12:00. Lunch will be provided.
Please RSVP if you plan on staying for lunch.
Call or email me with questions.
